I just wanted to say that this is inspiring. It’s great to see people in Vegas care. I moved here from Cali and I thought their was a lack of a giving community, it’s just most of it is on a smaller level of people wanting to do something, than giant organizations. I hope this Ghana Experience keeps on going. It is a beautiful wonderful touching blog.
Since it seems that you, along with other UNLV people do care, I just wanted to let you know that my work is doing a fundraiser.
Elements Salon and Wellness Spa is doing a free haircut fundraiser July 10th Friday from 12-8pm. Proceeds are going to two organizations: Miracle Flights who fly out the ill to medical specialist and MatchingDonors.com who encourage organ donation and match live organ donors to recipients.
We wanted to just invite other people who do good for others. Hope you and some friends can come.
